Why does my location jump erratically on the map?

Erratic location behavior is often caused by:
• Multipath reflections in urban or mountainous areas
• Low satellite visibility
• Electromagnetic interference
• GPS chipset limitations
• Rapid movement combined with slow update rates
• Competing location services
• Map datum misalignment
Try increasing the location update interval in settings or enabling location smoothing if available.
